Borrowing Information
- Loan Period: 3 weeks
- Borrowing Limit: 60 items per visit, 120 maximum for most customers; 30 per visit, 60 maximum for online registrants
- Hold Limit: 99 simultaneous requests
- Renewals: 1 automatic renewal if not requested by another customer
- Requestable Online: Yes
- Overdue Fines: $1 per day, $10 maximum; seniors exempt
- Branches: All branches
Special Instructions
All customers may request, except for those with DIY cards, educators, or temporary residents.
- Games must be returned to an HCLS branch.
- Fines are charged for each day an item is late.
- No fines are charged on days HCLS is closed.
- If fines equal $10 or more, customers can not borrow or renew any library materials until the fines have been cleared.
- Fines may be paid in person or using a self-check machine.
