Framed artwork in various sizes features diverse visual styles. Each piece comes in an easy-to-carry bag with accompanying information. The collection promotes access and exposure to art and cultural education. Available at the Central and Glenwood Branch.

Borrowing Information
- Loan Period: 6 weeks
- Borrowing Limit: 2 per customer
- Hold Limit: Not requestable online
- Renewals: None
- Requestable Online: No, but customers can phone Central or Glenwood to hold art for 2 hours
- Overdue Fines: $2 per day, $30 maximum; seniors exempt

Special Instructions
- You must have a valid Maryland library card registered at HCLS. (If you forget your card, any photo identification with your name and address is an acceptable substitute.)
- Customers 18 years or older may borrow artwork.
- You may not use a special borrower’s card (A+ Educator, A+ Student, Temporary Resident, Homebound, Satellite Collection, DIY).
Pickup & Return
- Artwork must be picked up at the Customer Service Desk of the lending branch.
- Artwork must be returned in the art tote bag during open hours at the Customer Service Desk of the lending branch in the condition in which it was borrowed.
- Artwork MAY NOT be returned to any HCLS book drop, any other HCLS branch, or other library systems in Maryland.
Reserving
- Artwork cannot be reserved, but you may call HCLS Central or Glenwood Branch to check on the availability of a specific piece of art.
- Available artwork may be held for a two-hour period for pickup at the HCLS lending branch.
- Artwork will not be sent to other HCLS branches for pickup.
- Returned items will be inspected based on established guidelines before being cleared from your account and made available to other customers.

- The full replacement cost and a processing fee will be charged for each item lost or stolen.
- If the artwork, frame or glass are damaged, you will be charged fee to replace the artwork or frame.
- Replacements for lost or damaged artwork or artwork components are not accepted.
